Muhammed Vally joined Massmart in 2016 as the General Counsel for Labour and Employment and has also held various acting People Partner roles, across the group. Muhammed has succesfully led the employment and labour aspects of several key strategic initiatives including the exit of Dion Wired, divesture from East and West Africa and group-wide organizational restructures. Prior to joining Massmart, Muhammed served as a senior attorney at ENSAfrica for 8 years in their Employment Law Department. Muhammed is a qualified attorney with a BA LLB from the University of the Witwatersrand.
