Following the Top Employers Celebration ceremony held on the 20th of January, Massmart is proud to announce its accreditation as a Top Employer for 2022 in South Africa.
Being certified as a Top Employer showcases an organisation’s dedication to a better world of work and exhibits this through excellent policies and people practices. After a rigorous assessment process, Massmart placed in the Top 25% of approximately 1800 employers who participated. In addition, the organisation scored impressively under the pillar relating to values, ethics, sustainability, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Speaking about the certification, Monique Ngcobo, Vice President for HR Services & Talent Management at Massmart, said, “Being recognised as a first time Top Employer is a tremendous honour and a vote of confidence for our people practices and the levels of professionalism we aspire to at Massmart.
